Grade A natural Guatemalan jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite featured is cut into a “donut” shaped blessing amulet, also known as Ping An Kou. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In Chinese culture, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy.

This is an “old mine” jadeite. It has beautiful rich and deep teal green color. Depending on lighting, it may appear a little more green or blue in person. It has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, extremely pure smooth, fine texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. There are some subtle white snowflake-like marbling spots within the material. This is a nice sized donut, about 28.2mm in size, with excellent thickness, over 6.3mm. Despite the thickness and deep color saturation, light can travel through the material completely and easily. The jadeite material is 100% natural and untreated. The pendant is tied on a non-stretchy rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 25” in length. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The necklace weighs about 12 grams entirely.
