Grade A natural Guatemalan icy jadeite pendant with a sterling silver bail. This is a PETITE pendant. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. This Jadeite is cut into a Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This Ping An Kou has a modified design where the donut hole is off center. This design is also known as "Princess" donut. Although small, this piece has icy highly Translucent clarity, super smooth texture that looks like jelly, and incredible luster. The jadeite has pastel teal blue color with dusty blue undertone and dark blue marbling. It is all natural with ZERO treatment! It is set with a sterling silver bail.
