Natural Guatemalan grade A icy jadeite pendant with a sterling silver bail. This is a nice sized jadeite pendant, about 26.9mm in size and 5.08mm in thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The material has a dark teal blue color with subtle dusty/grayish undertone. Depending on lighting, the color may appear more blue or green in person. Besides the beautiful color, the jadeite has icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture and excellent luster. It is cut into a Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. It comes with a solid sterling silver bail.
