Natural Guatemalan grade A jadeite pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. The pendant features a beautiful dark teal blue colored natural jadeite with Aegean blue undertone. Aegean blue is a special shade of blue found in natural Guatemalan jadeite, also known as "blue jeans". Depending on lighting, the color of this piece may appear more blue or green in person. It is carved into a 3D lotus pod with a small lotus flower on top. The carving is done all by hand with amazing design and intricate details, like a piece of art. This is not a large pendant but with wonderful thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite material has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! Very pretty around the neck. The pendant comes with a solid sterling silver bail. The opening of the bail is a little narrow. It is about 3.4mm in height and 1.6mm wide.
