Grade A natural Guatemalan Jadeite carved Pixiu bead and round beads beaded bracelet. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. The Pixiu in this bracelet is made of natural Guatemalan teal colored jadeite. Depending on lighting, teal jadeite can appear more blue or green in person. The material has icy translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure, and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and incredible luster. This Pixiu is about 13.7x15.2x11.5mm in size, and has new and unconventional carving design. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The carving is all done by hand with adorable and intricate details. The rest of the bracelet is made of 7mm natural Guatemalan teal jadeite round beads that are slightly darker shade than the Pixiu. The beads are well matched in size, color and quality. They all have translucent clarity, very fine and pure texture and great luster. On either side of the Pixiu, there are two smaller sized natural jadeite beads as accent that are light blue in color and about 5mm in size. The bracelet is on white colored stretchy cords and fits about 7.25" in length without being stretched. The bracelet weighs about 18 grams all together.
