Natural Guatemalan grade A icy jadeite carved pendant on a jadeite beaded rope necklace. The pendant features a natural grade A Guatemalan jadeite that has dusty teal green color. Depending on lighting, the color may appear more green or blue hue in person. It has icy highly translucent clarity, super pure, fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It is 100% natural and untreated. It is carved into a Vajra (Vajrapani Bhutadamara) pendant with a moving ball inside. The ball is carved within the Vajra as one piece. This type of carving takes skills and time, and is typically done by experienced carving artisans. A vajra is a ritual object originated from Buddhism. It symbolizes indestructibility and spiritual power, and used in rituals to sanctify objects and deepen spiritual practice. It is often worn as an amulet to ward off negativity. The carving is completely done by hand.

This is not an overly large pendant but not small either. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. There is a dragon charm right above the pendant. The charm is in solid sterling silver. The pendant comes with a jadeite beaded necklace. It is made of natural grade A Guatemalan jadeite petite round beads which have mixed sizes ranging from 3.7 mm to 4.25 mm. The beads have a beautiful mixture light blue, light teal and dark green color. The necklace is on green colored non-stretchy cords and has a brass (silver finish) screw clasp. It is about 21.5" in length including the clasp. The entire necklace weighs about 28 grams.
