Natural grade A bicolored icy jadeite carved pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. This is not a large pendant but not small either. Please refer to photos for measurements and size. The pendant features special natural bicolored jadeite. The material’s outer/bottom layer, also known as the rind of the jadeite rough, has icy rich cognac/red color, and the top is icy white with subtle dusty blue undertone. The entire piece has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, super fine, clean and pure texture and exceptional luster. The white part of the material is artfully carved into a chanting monk. The carving is all done by hand. Typically the rind of the jadeite is opaque and dull, not fine jadeite material. So it is quite rare and exciting to find material like this where the rind has such saturated and vibrant color while completely icy and translucent. There might be some very fine interior stone line or colored marbling line within the rind but it doesn't affect the integrity or the durability of the piece. The pendant comes with a solid sterling silver bail. The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! Please review all photos for details and measurements.
