Grade A natural Jadeite Pixiu pendant on a rope necklace. This is a large pendant with wonderful thickness and size. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being. This piece of Jadeite has icy translucent clarity, fine, pure, and smooth texture and great luster. The material has light green color. Please refer to photos to size and measurements. This Pixiu is hand cut, carved with amazing details, and polished to best showcase its quality. It is tied onto a dark green colored rope necklace that is adjustable up to 30" in length. Above the Pixiu, there is a large natural Guatemalan jadeite round bead in deep teal blue color, as accent.
