Certified natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite carved Dragon pendant with a rope necklace. This is truly a substantial piece. Please refer to the photos for actual measurements. The jadeite is cut into a near teardrop shape and is carved with a dragon on the front and the dragon's tail on the back side. The carving is completely done by hand with astonishing design and amazingly intricate details. The jadeite has icy highly translucent clarity and lights can travel through it completely and easily despite the great thickness of the piece. It has super fine, pure smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The jadeite is dark teal blue in color with subtle dusty/gray undertone and a few patches of dark brown marbling within the material. The patches are more visible when light shines through or directly onto it. Depending on lighting, the color may appear more blue or green in person. Please know on the backside of the pendant, directly over the dark brown marbling, there are some surface blemishes/ rough area. This is shown in photos and videos.
