Natural grade A Icy Jadeite Ping An Kou pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. The pendant features one icy highly translucent white jadeite with very subtle light beige marbling. The marbling makes the overall color appear to have very subtle warm beige undertone. The jadeite has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, extremely fine and pure texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. The jadeite is cut into a Ping An Kou which is a donut shaped blessing amulet that symbolizes safety and good luck. It is believed to ward off negative energy. It is a well-loved design in jadeite jewelry. This Ping An Kou is not overly large but with excellent thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements.
