Grade A natural Guatemalan carved Jadeite mini sculpture with a wood stand. The jadeite featured has dusty (grayish) teal blue color with very fine green marbling lines. The jadeite still has a portion of the rind/outer skin preserved as the back. The front of the jadeite has the rind polished off and carved with a dragon design. The carving is all done by hand. The carved section has icy translucent clarity, fine and smooth texture and excellent luster. The rest of the piece is semi-translucent. Closer to the rind, it is opaque. There may be imperfections for large pieces like this, such as stone lines, surface blemishes and/or scuffs. Please know one of the dragon's horns has a very tiny chip but it is polished off. This is a miniature sculpture with a custom wood stand. It weighs about 115 grams without the stand. Please refer to the photos for details and actual measurements.
