Grade A natural Guatemalan carved Jadeite mini sculpture with a wood stand. The jadeite featured appears to be dark yellow with dusty (grayish) blue undertone. A small portion of the material also has vibrant green marbling. A quite unique piece! The jadeite still has the rind/outer skin preserved. The front and the side of the jadeite has the rind polished off and carved with a dragon design. The carving is all done by hand. The carved section has icy translucent clarity, fine and smooth texture and excellent luster. The rest of the piece is semi-translucent to opaque. There may be imperfections for large pieces like this, such as stone lines, surface blemishes and/or scuffs. This is a miniature sculpture with a custom wood stand.
