Grade A jadeite carved barrel bead and natural dark brown natural wood beads beaded bracelet. The bracelet features one beautifully carved grade A jadeite bead. It is drum shaped large bead, about 16.3x18.3 mm in size. The entire bead is fully carved with a snake and cherry blossom. The carving is artfully done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details. The material is partially white and partially red in color. The red section is heat treated. Heating treatment is industry wide accepted treatment for natural and genuine jadeite as it doesn't change the quality or texture of the material. It is merely for color enhancement. The jadeite material has icy translucent clarity, very smooth, pure and fine texture and outstanding luster. The rest of the bracelet is made of natural wood beads. These beads are about 12.5 mm in size. They offer a beautiful textural contrast to the lustrous jadeite bead. The bracelet is on stretchy white colored cords and fits about 8.25” without being stretched. The entire bracelet weighs about 27 grams.
