Certified grade A natural Jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace with sterling silver closure. The necklace features a premium quality “old mine” jadeite, that is carved into a Pixiu. Pixiu (貔貅) is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being. This piece is cut, carved and polished completely by hand! The carving design is exquisite with intricate details. 

The material has beautiful pale blue color with very subtle light purple hue. It is icy highly translucent, and has incredibly fine, pure and smooth texture, and outstanding luster. It is so clean that there is no crystal structure visible, not even when light shines through it. And it is so lustrous that it looks as if it is dipped in oil. It is so exciting to see jadeite with such nice quality and beautiful natural color at the same time. The Pixiu comes with a certificate of authenticity. It weighs 12.19 grams by itself.

Above the Pixiu, there is a light green natural jadeite drum beads as accent also with icy highly translucency and glow. All jadeite used are 100% natural and untreated. The Pixiu is on a hand made rope necklace with solid sterling silver hook closure. The rope is gray in color, and about 2mm in thickness.
