Certified grade A natural Jadeite pendant. The pendant features a beautiful quality jadeite. The mine this piece comes from in is known to have premium quality and contains stunning snowflake cotton marbling. This material has icy translucent clarity, and extremely pure, fine and smooth texture that looks gelatinous, and outstanding luster. It is so lustrous that it looks like it has been dipped in oil. The material has both green marbling, rich vibrant yellow marbling and signature snowflake marbling. It is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! It is carved into a Pixiu (貔貅). Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being. This piece is hand cut, carved with amazing details, and polished to best showcase its color and gives the fuller shape to this pendant. This is a thick carved piece! The Pixiu alone measures about 22.2x17.4x12.5mm in size. It is set in a custom coin design 18K solid yellow gold bail and a natural diamond. Including the setting, the pendant weighs 9.24 grams.
