Certified grade A natural jadeite ring in handcrafted solid 18K rose gold setting. This ring features a natural jadeite that is carved into a little Pixiu. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. This Pixiu is hand carved with adorable design and intricate details. Although small, the carving is on point. The jadeite looks almost colorless but actually has subtle pastel blue undertone. And it contains small amount of green marbling on the side. This Jadeite material has icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. It is 100% natural with ZERO treatment!

The jadeite is set in a custom and handcrafted solid 18K rose gold setting with Ruyi design in the shoulders. Ruyi is Chinese mythological wish-granting amulet, often used in designs of jadeite jewelry. The setting is well built and the band is solid all the way around. The ring weighs 3.74 grams! It is a size 7. Although we are unable to offer resizing, this ring can be resized easily by your local jeweler. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
