Certified grade A natural Jadeite pendant with custom solid 18K white gold setting. The pendant features an icy translucent and gelatinous icy jadeite with pastel dusty blue undertone. It is carved into a Pixiu (貔貅). Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. This piece of Jadeite has translucent icy clarity, extremely pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It is all natural with ZERO treatment! This piece is hand cut, carved with great details. The Pixiu alone measures about 16x11x5.9mm in size (measuring at the widest point of each side). It is set in a custom handcrafted solid 18K white gold setting. With the setting, the pendant measures about 21.3x11x7.3mm. The setting is well made. It weighs 2.63 grams.
