Certified grade A natural icy jadeite pendant in solid 18K yellow gold setting. The pendant features icy translucent to highly translucent jadeite that is cut into a donut ring, nested with the center material cut from the ring that is made into a Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. This kind of jadeite pendant is often referred to as mother-and-child pendant. The ring symbolizes the mother and the center donut bead symbolizes the child. The nested Ping An Kou bears wishes for the well-being of the mother and her child/children. This material has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, amazing luster, and fine, smooth texture. It is icy white with a patch of vibrant yellow marbling on the bottom of the pendant.
