Natural grade A icy highly translucent Jadeite pendant in solid 18KT Yellow Gold. The jadeite is cut into a ”Hulu” or gourd that symbolizes good luck and happiness. The jadeite is icy white, and has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, smooth and pure texture, and exceptional luster. This is old mine material which has superior clarity and purity that makes the jadeite look jelly-like and glow. The piece is hand cut, carved, and highly polished to best showcase its features and beauty. It has a custom built solid 18K yellow gold bail in the design of a Ruyi. Ruyi is a Chinese ancient mythological wish-granting amulet. In the center of the Ruyi, there is a natural vibrant green jadeite small round cabochon. Although small in size, this jadeite has highly sough-after color and top gem quality. This is a good sized pendant. The entire pendant weighs 3.56 grams. Please see photos for size and measurements.
