Certified natural Guatemalan premium "old mine" jadeite pendant with a sterling silver bail. This is a "LARGE" jadeite pendant. Please refer to photos for size and measurements. The material has a stunning dark grayish blue color. It is a Wuji jadeite material with icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, super clean, pure and fine texture that looks gelatinous, and outstanding luster. It is so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. Wuji refers to black marbling found in jadeite material. Unlike mineral inclusion, Wuji marbling is desirable and often compared to black and white Chinese traditional watercolor painting. It is also said to possess protective energy. There are no stone lines or cracks. It is cut into a Ping An Kou which is a donut shaped blessing amulet symbolizing safety and good luck. The Ping An Kou comes with a certificate of authenticity, and it weighs 10.21 grams by itself. The jadeite material is 100% natural untreated.
