Certified grade A natural Guatemalan icy jadeite pendant in a custom design sterling silver setting. The pendant features icy highly translucent jadeite that is cut into a donut ring, nested with the center material cut from the ring that is made into a Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. This kind of jadeite pendant is often referred to as mother-and-child pendant. The ring symbolizes the mother and the center donut bead symbolizes the child. The nested Ping An Kou bears wishes for the well-being of the mother and her child/children. This material has stunning icy highly translucent clarity, amazing luster, and incredibly fine, pure and smooth texture. The material is so pure and smooth that it looks gelatinous and has glows. It has beautiful and dreamy light blue color with subtle purple undertone. The purple hue shows up more under artificial lighting or candlelight. These are 100% natural with ZERO treatment. The setting is a handcrafted custom retro design in S925 sterling silver. It is well made with generous amount of sterling silver. It weighs 3.54 grams, and comes with a certificate of authenticity (#8637). This is not a huge pendant but not small either, perfect size for wearing on a chain.
