Certified natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite carved dragon pendant with an adjustable rope necklace. The pendant features a natural Guatemalan jadeite in dark teal blue color. It is carved entirely into a dragon head with a chanting mock, also known as "Wu Dao" (in Chinese), on the top of its head. At the bottom of the dragon, there is a dangling ring, carved completely interlocking as one piece attached to the dragon. The carving is completely done by hand with stunning design and intricate details. This is a nice sized carved pendant but not overly large. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The material has icy translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture and outstanding luster. Despite the excellent thickness, light can travel through the jadeite completely and easily. The material is so pure and fine that it appears to glow on the edges of the piece. Over the dragon, there is a carved jadeite bead, about 10x8.8mm in size, as accent. This bead is carved into a dancing lion head. It has matching jadeite material as the dragon. Although small, the carving of the dancing lion head is on point. The pendant is on a dark brown colored non-stretchy rope necklace that is adjustable up to about 27" in length. The jadeite used are 100% natural and untreated.
