Certified natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite pendant on adjustable rope necklace. The pendant is made from a piece of natural Guatemalan old mind jadeite. It has intense dark teal blue color with Aegean blue undertone, icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks gelatinous and exceptional luster. The material is lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. The material is so pure and clear that it appears to glow on the edges. The jadeite is carved into a flying Pixiu (貔貅) with wings. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. This is 100% natural Guatemalan old mine material, with ZERO treatment! This piece is hand cut, carved with amazing design and intricate details, and polished to best showcase its color and quality. Even the teeth and the claws of the pixiu are carved out.
