Certified grade A natural Jadeite carved Shan Shui Pai pendant with adjustable rope necklace. Shan Shui, in Chinese, means "Mountains" and "Waters". Shan Shui pendant typically has a landscape scenery carved/engraved on a piece of jadeite. It bears well wishes for one's personal and professional growth. The carving and engraving on this piece is completely done by hand with extraordinary design and intricate designs. This is a nice sized pendant with excellent thickness. The jadeite material has beautiful green color, some part of it is lighter in shade while some is darker. It also contains dark green marbling. Besides the beautiful color, the jadeite has nice icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. Light can travel through it completely and easily. Most of the natural green jadeite has poor translucency, coarse texture and dull color, which makes this material relatively rare. Please know, there are some shallow stone lines, most of which have been incorporated into the carving design. On the back side of the pendant, there is a spot that has some natural blemishes (slightly rough spot). This is shown and marked in closeup photos. Please make sure to review. Please only purchase if the imperfections are acceptable to you. This material is 100% natural and untreated. The jadeite weighs 18.73 grams by itself, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
