Certified grade A natural Jadeite carved Shan Shui Pai pendant with adjustable rope necklace. Shan Shui, in Chinese, means "Mountains" and "Waters". Shan Shui pendant typically has a landscape scenery carved/engraved on a piece of jadeite. It bears well wishes for one's personal and professional growth. The carving and engraving on this piece is completely done by hand with extraordinary design and intricate designs. This is a "large" sized pendant with wonderful thickness. The jadeite material used is a uniquely and naturally bi-colored jadeite. It has mostly dark bluish green color but on the front there is golden brown marbling on the front. The jadeite has nice icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, incredibly fine, pure and smooth texture and outstanding luster. Despite the thickness of the piece, light can travel through it completely and easily. There might be some interior crystal structure in the area where the golden brown marbling. Natural yellow and golden marbled jadeite is prone to have stone lines and crystal structure. It is very common for a piece this size to have some minor imperfections. This material is 100% natural and untreated. The jadeite weighs an impressive 41.91 grams by itself, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
