Certified grade A natural Jadeite carved Shan Shui Pai pendant with adjustable rope necklace. Shan Shui, in Chinese, means "Mountains" and "Waters". Shan Shui pendant typically has a landscape scenery carved/engraved on a piece of jadeite. It bears well wishes for one's personal and professional growth. The carving and engraving on this piece is completely done by hand with extraordinary design and intricate designs. This is a "large" sized pendant. Please refer to photos for size and measurements.

What is so unique about this piece is the original "skin" (the outer layer of the raw jadeite) is preserved as the backside of the pendant. The inner layer of the "skin" has beautiful dark yellow color, icy highly translucent clarity, incredibly fine, pure and smooth texture and outstanding luster. This is fairly unusual to see saturated natural dark yellow jadeite with such a fine and icy quality, and at this substantial size! PLEASE KNOW there are some natural stone lines towards the bottom of the pendant. These are marked and shown in the photos. These are stone lines within the material (beneath the surface), and they are "not" cracks. Please only buy if this imperfection is acceptable to you. This material is 100% natural and untreated. The jadeite weighs an impressive 42.97 grams by itself, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The pendant comes with a black colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26".
