Certified grade A natural Jadeite carved Pixiu ring in handcrafted solid sterling silver setting with genuine moissanite accent. This is a custom solitaire style ring made of generous amount of silver. The ring features a natural grade A "old mine" jadeite. It has pastel/pale green undertone with subtle green marbling. This is 100% natural and untreated. Although not a large piece, the material has icy highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. The jadeite is hand carved into a Pixiu. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. The carving is all done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details. The jadeite alone measures about 10.25x11.93 mm in size, and over 8 mm in depth. The narrowest part of the band (on the back) is about 2 mm in width. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite is cast in a custom and handcrafted setting made of solid sterling silver. Even the underside of the ring is finished off with comfort fit. The ring measures about size 7.25 US on the ring sizer. The ring weighs 4.15 grams! It comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please review all photos for details and measurements.
