Certified grade A natural Jadeite carved Pixiu ring set in solid sterling silver with a wide band. This is a substantial and weighty ring. The ring features natural light green colored jadeite with beautiful green marbling. It is carved into a little pixiu. Although small, the carving is on point with beautiful design and intricate details. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. The jadeite has icy translucent clarity, super clean, fine and smooth texture and excellent luster. The band of the ring is made of solid sterling silver and there is generous amount of solid sterling silver in this ring. Even the underside of the Pixiu is finished. This is a wide band ring.
