HUGE Certified natural grade A jadeite Ping An Kou pendant on a rope necklace. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This Ping An Kou is made entirely out of the center material of a bangle. It has a substantial size and excellent thickness. The material has beautiful icy translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and clean texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It has light green color with spots of yellow marbling. It is exciting to see natural light green material with nice translucency and in such a large size. Shan Shui usually is a landscape design including mountains, trees, temples, waters and sky. It bears the well wishes for one's professional and personal growth. This Ping An Kou is engraved on both sides, and can be worn on either side. The engraving is all done by hand with intricate details.
