Certified natural grade A icy Jadeite carved link chain and Ping An Kou (donut) bracelet with sterling silver closure. The bracelet features interlocked jadeite dragon bone style link chain attached to a Ping An Kou, a donut shaped blessing amulet. This is carved out of natural grade A jadeite as one continuous piece. The dragon bone links are unusual and sophisticated with two rings in each link. The links and the donut are hand carved entirely interlocking and as one piece. This type of carving is very complex and extremely time consuming and generates a lot of waste. This is usually done by very experienced and skilled carving artisans only.

The jadeite material appears to be icy white in color but actually has very subtle bluish green undertone. This undertone is more noticeable when it is against something white like a piece of paper. Although there is small variance in size among the links, each link is approximately 6x5.4x10.4 mm in size in average. The jadeite has beautiful icy highly translucent clarity, super pure, smooth and fine texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. The material is so pure and clear that it appears to glow on the edges of the links. Please know some crystal structure can be seen where the material is more translucent and there might be natural and super fine stone lines on a few of the links. The jadeite is 100% natural and untreated. The donut in the center of the chain is about 22.8x12.8mm in size and 5.4mm in depth. The jadeite link is about 5.75" by itself. The bracelet comes with sterling silver hardware and closure. And it is about 7" in length including the closure. The entire jadeite bracelet weighs about 9 grams.
