Certified grade A natural icy Jadeite Pendant with adjustable rope necklace. The pendant is made of a unique bicolored "old mine" natural jadeite. The outer layer or rind of the jadeite has rich and highly saturated red color, which is very rare to come across. The inner layer of the jadeite has subtle light beige undertone. Typically, the rind of the jadeite is rough, dull and opaque but this piece's rind is completely icy highly translucent just like the inner layer, the entire piece has super fine, smooth and pure texture and exceptional luster. The jadeite is so clear and pure that the inside layer appears to glow towards the edges. The carving artisan artfully reserved the rind to use as the backdrop of the pendant, and the icy beige section of the material is carved into a stunning lotus flower. The carving is done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details. This is a nice sized piece with wonderful thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The pendant weighs 16.83 grams by itself and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Above the pendant, there is a natural icy beige colored nephrite jade drum bead as the bail. It has super smooth and fine texture and nice icy translucency. All gem materials used are 100% natural and untreated.
