Certified Natural grade A icy jadeite carved Ping An Kou pendant with a solid 18K yellow gold bail. The pendant features an old mine jadeite that has pastel greenish beige undertone along with small amount of yellow marbling. It has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, incredibly fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster.

The jadeite is carved into a modified Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is typically a donut shaped blessing amulet that symbolizes safety and good luck. It is believed to ward off negative energy. It is a well-loved design in jadeite jewelry. This Ping An Kou is flat on the back. On the front, it is carved with a dragon sitting on top of the Ping An Kou, On the back, it has Ruyi design engraving on the top and a part of the body of the dragon. There are also ancient coins on the front and back. The carving is 100% done by hand with exquisite design and intricate details. This is not an overly large pendant but with good thickness. The pendant comes with a solid 18K yellow gold bail. The opening of the bail is on the small side and about 3.5mm in height. The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! It comes with a certificate of authenticity (9426) and weighs 6.33 grams entirely. Chain NOT included.
