Certified Natural grade A jadeite Ping An Kou pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This is not a large Ping An Kou but with nice thickness. It is about 22.8 mm in size and over 6 mm in thickness. Please refer to photos for measurements. The jadeite is natural "old mine" material. It has pure white color with two very faint and thin light brown marbling lines on the back the donut (not stone lines or other imperfections). The material has beautiful icy highly translucent clarity. Despite the thickness, light can travel through the material easily and completely. It has incredibly fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly and exceptional luster. It is so clear and pure that it appears to glow from within, and so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. There is a barrel shaped bead above the donut that is made from the same material as the donut. It has matching color and quality. This is 100% natural and genuine with ZERO enhancement. The jadeite pieces weigh 6.7 grams together, and come with a certificate of authenticity. This comes with a rope necklace made with 1mm dark brown colored waxed cotton cords. The necklace has a button closure and the button is a carved cherry blossom jadeite bead, made from natural grade A icy white jadeite with slight green marbling.
