Certified natural Guatemalan grade A jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. This is not a relatively large pendant. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite material has natural dark teal blue color, nice icy translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture and outstanding luster! It is carved into a "modified" Ping An Kou.

Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This Ping An Kou has retro patterns carved around the outside of the donut, and one interlocked teardrop at the bottom of the donut and one interlocked ring bail on the top of the donut . The interlocking rings are carved entirely attached with the donut. This type of carving is time-consuming, and demands precision, and generates a lot of waste. Only highly skilled carving artisans can achieve it. The carving is all done by hand with intricate details. The carving is double-sided, very beautiful and unique design! This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! The pendant is on a dark brown colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26" in length.
