Certified grade A natural Guatemalan carved Jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. This is a large pendant with outstanding thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite is carved with a beautiful lotus flower and two goldfish swimming underneath it. The carving is all done by hand with stunning design and intricate details. The material has stunning rich Aegean blue color. It is a special shade of blue found in natural jadeite that is also known as "blue jean". Depending on lighting, the color may appear slightly more blue or green in person. Besides the color, the jadeite has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, incredibly fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. The material is so pure that it appears to glow on the edges, and so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. Despite the unusual thickness and saturated color, light can travel through the material completely and easily. The material is 100% natural with ZERO treatment. The pendant weighs 35.08 grams by itself and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is tied on a bicolored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26” in length.
