Certified Grade A natural Guatemalan jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite featured is cut into a "thick" donut shaped blessing amulet, also known as Ping An Kou. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In Chinese culture, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy.

This donut is cut with outstanding thickness of over 8mm! Most of the jadeite donuts are about 5 mm thick. This is an “old mine” jadeite with smooth and pure texture and color. It has beautiful teal green color with small snowflake-like marbling spots, icy highly translucent clarity, extremely pure smooth, fine texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. The material is so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. Depending on lighting, it can appear more green or blue in person. The jadeite material is 100% natural untreated. The pendant is tied on a non-stretchy khaki colored rope necklace that is adjustable up to 26” in length. This is a nice sized Ping An Kou. Please refer to photos for actual measurements.
