Certified natural grade A Guatemalan jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace with button style closure. The jadeite featured is an old mine natural Guatemalan jadeite that has full-body vibrant yellow color. This is a rare and exciting opportunity as natural Guatemalan jadeite are typically found in blue shades and sometime with yellow marbling. This piece is completely yellow and vibrant shade. In addition, it has very nice icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It is cut into a square edged “donut”. Donut shaped blessing amulet is also known as Ping An Kou (in Chinese). "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In Chinese culture, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. The center cut-out of the donut is made into a barrel bead and used as an accent above the Ping An Kou. This is not a large pendant but with excellent thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite is 100% natural and untreated. The jadeite piece weighs 3.7 grams entirely and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The pendant is tied on a dark brown colored rope necklace, 1mm waxed cotton ropes, that is fully adjustable up to 16”. The closure is a button style clasp with a natural Guatemalan jadeite carved cherry blossom bead as the button. The jadeite has matching yellow color and icy quality.
