Certified grade A natural icy jadeite Ping An Kou pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The pendant features an "old mine" natural jadeite that is icy white in color with stunning green marbling. The jadeite has icy translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks gelatinous, and outstanding luster. It is cut into a Ping An Kou, which is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This donut is about 27.9mm in size and about 3.38mm in thickness. It has a hand braided bail and tied onto a green colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26" in length.
