This piece has its rind attached and preserved because it has nice brown color with red marbling. It is relatively smooth with translucency. The carving artisan incorporated the rind into the design. It is carved into a beautiful leaf. The inside of the jadeite has nice icy dusty blue color. It is carved into Bodhisattva sitting on a lotus pad. The carving is beautifully done with exquisit design and intricate details. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe jadeite has icy translucent clarity, super pure, fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. Despite the thickness and with rind attached, light can travel through the material completely. The rind portion of the jadeite has some natural blemishes which is still considered highly smooth. The jadeite is 100% natural and untreated! It comes with a nice bicolored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 28\" in length. The jadeite pendant weighs 29.68 grams! It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
