Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his\/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe carving is all done by hand with beautiful and unique design and intricate details. Besides the stunning color, the jadeite material is semi-translucent, super fine and smooth texture, and excellent luster. Please know on the backside of the pendant, there is a small area towards the bottom that has rough surface. On the front side towards the top, there is a very fine natural interior stone line (not a crack). These are shown and marked in closeup photos. Please make sure to review. The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO treatment.
